Nordic walking

Take your first steps into the world of Nordic Walking!

A healthy physical exercise to prevent and/or slow down the development of common diseases such as osteoarthritis.

When:

  • Saturday 14 September: 14:30 > 16:00 > 17:00
    Sunday 15 September: 11:00 > 13:30 > 15:30 > 16:30

Where:

  • Location: Parc du Mont des Arts – Brussels – Square Entrance
  • 15-Person group departures every 30 mins

Open access – regular departures every 30 min

  • Relief for lower body joints
  • Improved physical condition, strength, flexibility and coordination;
  • Strength the immune system;
  • Strength the back and core muscles;
  • Correction of posture
  • Reduced muscle tension
Tai Chi

Discover Tai Chi

An activity to help fight osteoarthritis and rheumatism, to improve well-being and ease discomfort.

When:

  • Saturday 14 September: 14:00 – 15:30
  • Sunday 15 September: from  10:00 – 12:00 > 14:30 – 17:00

Where:

  • Location: Cube – Square (indoor space at Square)
  • Groups of 20 to 40 people.

Remember! Please arrive 10 minutes before the session begins, if not, your spot may be given to somebody else.

Comfortable clothing is advised (loose-fitting clothes).

Running

Come and join our friendly run.

Thanks to your donations, this run will help support the Osteoarthritis Foundation and their work which raises awareness and prevention regarding osteoarthritis.

When:

Sunday 15 September:

  • 09:00: Pets Run* (a run alongside your faithful 4-legged friend)
  • 10:00: Kids Run ** (reserved for children born between 2006 & 2013 – not suitable for those under 5)
  • 11:00: Wodies Run

*pets must be kept on a lead. Owners are responsible for clearing up after their dogs.
** Children run under the complete responsibility of their parents. Parents can also run with their children.
