We had the pleasure of hearing from our exclusive ambassador of WODIES, Jean Michel Saive. A Belgium table tennis champion who was the world number one for 515 days.
Jean Michel Saive will be attending and participating in one of the panels of our event World Osteoarthritis Day Intergenerational Events (WODIES).

In June 2017, he became the Mayor of the City of Brussels and devoted himself entirely to his mission, he resigns from his position as deputy and group leader in the Brussels Parliament. At the end of the legislature, he was re-elected on 14 October 2018 as Bourgmestre for the next 6 years.

In his private life, Philippe Close is passionate about rugby and music, and has two children.

Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden

At sixteen, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden was the youngest laureate of the Queen Elisabeth International Musical Competition.

He entered the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels at the age of twelve and worked under the direction of Eduardo Del Pueyo until the end of his studies at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.

His solo career leads him quickly to all continents.
